"On my way to work I witnessed an old man heavily bleeding, having sustained a head injury in an assault. He had received a hard blow to the head. I immediately took the injured man to Jayanagara General Hospital for emergency treatment to contain the bleeding and called the police to investigate the crime. The man was given timely treatment thus preventing the situation from escalating.
While also having received many complaints from residents regarding the hospital’s operation, performance and on vaccination blocking, I decided to hold a surprise inspection & meeting with the staff of the Hospital.
Visited all the departments and enquired about the available facilities for delivering the same to the patients. It has come to my notice that the hospital has shortage of Human Resource at various departments. In the wake of the 3rd wave our hospitals have to be equipped with enough personnel to handle the pandemic. This is critical.
Meanwhile, the doctors also expressed the problems they faced to treat patients due to the lack of infrastructural facilities, blood banks, diagnostic labs etc and also the lack of support from the government to address the above.
Covid 3rd wave has been reportedly affected in the neighbouring states and it is very crucial to prepare for the well-being of our people; interacted with the doctors & discussed on the prior framework to tackle the Covid 3rd wave and urged the doctors to utilise the MLA Funds to revamp the Jayanagar General Hospital"
