Sir M Visweshwariah (SMV) Layout 1st Block is a residential colony in the western part of Bangalore city. It currently has about 350+ households residing in the colony. SMV Layout 1st Block Residents Welfare Association (RWA) is formed with an objective to promote the well being and welfare of the residents of 1st Block in particular and the society in general.

“We are confident to throw open two Metro lines this year. The Metro line on Kanakapura Road will be opened on Independence Day and the Mysore road Metro stretch will be ready on Rajyotsava day,” Ajay Seth, BMRCL Managing Director told BM.
