Bannerghatta Biological Park is one of the renowned and globally recognized wildlife tourism and conservation centre of Karnataka. It has well-organized facilities for the visitors to have a walk and ride in the wilderness i.e., Zoological Garden, various safaris and rejoice in the Butterfly Park. Safaris of Tiger, Lion, Bear and Herbivore are the modern concept of exhibiting the rare and majestic

animals in their natural habitat in the forest in addition to exhibition of varieties of wild animals, birds and reptiles in the zoo. It has been selected as one of the seven centers for rehabilitation of the rescued animals from circuses and street players by the Central Zoo Authority of India (CZA). Biological Park is the tourism zone identified for the purpose of wildlife tourism in the park for development of Zoo, Safaris and tourist facilities for wildlife education and enjoyment of the people and rehabilitation of rescued animals.

ಬನ್ನೇರುಘಟ್ಟ ಜೈವಿಕ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇ 23 ರಂದು "ವಿಶ್ವ ಆಮೆ ದಿನ" ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಜರುಗಿತು.
