180 saplings planted. 100 kg of mangoes harvested. A rocky farm, growing new possibilities. 🌱🥭
In the challenging terrain of Dahiwadi, Maharashtra, Suryakant Bhosle is turning rocky soil into a source of hope.
With support from SayTrees, he planted 180 fruit saplings in 2022, 129 mango, 25 sapota and 26 lemon trees. Today, his patience and care are beginning to pay off, with his mango trees yielding their first harvest of around 100 kg of mangoes.
For Suryakant and his family, every harvest is a step towards making their six-acre farm more productive and building a more sustainable future.
His journey is a reminder that even where farming is difficult, the right support and consistent care can help new roots take hold and hope begin to bear fruit. 💚🌳
