Feeding animals is a social service. It doesn't make the feeders alone responsible for animal behaviors. It is the duty of every citizen to care for animals & birds around them.

If you are getting harassed for feeding beyond what you can handle & all amicable efforts have failed, then here is a quick view of BNS sections you can ask police to file at your nearest police station.

ನಮ್ಮ ಭಯವು ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕ್ರೂರವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಒಂದು ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿರಬಾರದು. ಅವರಿಗೂ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಂತೆ ಬದುಕುವ ಹಕ್ಕಿದೆ. ಯಾವುದೇ ನಾಗರಿಕರು, ಅವರ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸ್ಥಾನಮಾನವನ್ನು ದುರ್ಬಳಕೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ತಮ್ಮ ಅನುಕೂಲಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಡೆದುಹಾಕಲು ಗುಂಪನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ.

ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ದೇಶದ ಕಾನೂನಿಗೆ ಬದ್ಧರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ನಾಗರಿಕರು ಸಹಾನುಭೂತಿಯನ್ನು ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡಲು ಮತ್ತು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲನೆಗಿಂತ ಸಹಬಾಳ್ವೆಗೆ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ನಾವು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.

Our fear cannot be and must not be an excuse to treat animals cruelly. They have the right to live as much as humans. No citizens, irrespective of their social standing, can coerce a group to eliminate animals for their own convenience.

ದಿನನಿತ್ಯದ ಆಹಾರ > ಸಕಾಲಿಕ ಲಸಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ನ್ಯೂಟರಿಂಗ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಝೂನೋಟಿಕ್ ರೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಡುವ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಫೀಡರ್ ಬೆನ್ನೆಲುಬಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಅಂಜುಬುರುಕ ನಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಯಿಗಳ ಸಂತತಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಬಿಎಂಪಿಗೆ ಅವರ ನೆರವು ಅಪಾರವಾಗಿದೆ.

ನಾಗರಿಕರು ಈ ಫೀಡರ್‌ಗಳಿಗೆ ದಯೆ ತೋರಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿರುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಲು ನಾವು ವಿನಂತಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕಿರುಕುಳ ನೀಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಿರುತ್ಸಾಹಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಡಿ.

ಶ್ವಾನ ವಿರೋಧಿ ಭಾವನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಡುವ ಸಂಘಗಳನ್ನು ನಾವು ಗಮನಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತಹ ಕಾನೂನುಬಾಹಿರ ನಡವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊನೆಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಕಠಿಣ ಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.

Feeders are the backbone in maintaining public health by keeping animals who spread zoonotic diseases in control through daily feeding > timely vaccination and nuetering.

Their support on the ground has helped BBMP immensely in catching timid dogs and controlling the dog population.

We request citizens to be kind to these feeders & support in whatever way possible and not discourage them by harassing them.

We are taking note of associations spreading anti-dog sentiments and will pursue strict action to put an end to such illegal behavior.
