SN2 Meeting updates (May 6th, 2018)
Thanks to edify School for providing the space.
1. We discussed about converting Conditional Sale Deed to Absolute Sale Deed (Procedure - if the registration of property is more than 5 years the penalty is 5% otherwise the penalty is 10% of the registered value i.e., let’s say if your site value is Rs 6,00,000 (LIG site) and registration is more than 5 years the penalty amount is Rs. 30,000 otherwise its Rs 60,000. You need to get an application in the SN2 office for the conversion and then you need to pay the penalty in the Anand Rao Circle Corporation Bank. Carry original Conditional Sale Deed, Address Proof, ID proof preferably aadhar Card)
2. Rental Demand in Suryanagar Phase 2 is picking up now. LIG house can fetch a rent of Rs 3000 - 3500 (Depending upon the work) and MIG house can fetch (Rs. 3500 - Rs. 4000)
3. Approach road to Chandapura Anekal Road via Ramakrishnapura - This is in process and KHB is negotiating the land near the entrance as the owner is demanding more as its towards main road. To push this forward we definitely need an association as single person cannot go and talk to Bopanna or KHB engineer or KHB commissioner
4. Forest Department is planting trees across Suryanagar phase 2 (you would have seen the big potholes near your site, nothing to worry its dug by forest department and they will be planting trees). Some issues w.r.t to forest department also needs to be addressed as they are planting only Honge mara () and this grows vertically at times and causes blockage to the road. So, an association can address this matters
5. W.r.t to water they are testing Kaveri water across SN2 and they are delaying this. So, an association is required to address this and speed-up the process
6. Thanks to Rajeshshekar for taking initiative and motivating the people to form an association. Around 30 members showed interest to form association yesterday and we collected Rs. 500 from each member. We will open the account in the name of association and share the details so, interested members can transfer the member fees to the account
7. We need around 15 executive members (preferably people staying in SN2 or surrounding areas so, they can discuss about the issues and take it forward to KHB as an association)
8. Some of the updates in the layout as heard from members - JSS Academy has bought 2 Acres of CA site in Sector 'A' for constructing an institute (Work might start from next year), Horticulture department is planning to setup in Sector 'C', Pollution Control Board is coming up in Sector 'C' (This will be the biggest in South India and will be controlling bangalore and bangalore - chennai corridor), Link road is planned from Sector 'B' to Narayana Hrudayala (Again need association to push this forward)
9. Lake developement - Rs. 25 lacs was sanction with help of Edify school for lake clean up near edify school sector 'C'. And once this road is done we can request BMTC buses to ply into our layout. Again we need association to do this :)
10. So, most of the issues we discuss will just be in air if we don’t have a proper association. Its the right time we have an association to talk about these issues to the KHB commissioner and speed up the process.
11. Association here is just for discussing the issues with KHB and association will not interfere in collecting money for maintenance. This will still be with KHB.
12. Finally, we need to join our hands to improve our layout !!!!!
