Department of Stamps and Registration, Karnataka Department of Stamps and Registration is the custodian of registered public records such as Register of Marriages and Firms, Property registrations.

It offers registration and information services to citizens:

A) Registration Services: Department offers registration service through its 35 District Registrar offices and 256 Sub-Registrar offices. Below instruments are registered by the department -

1. Documents: Documents capturing information about sale of immovable property transaction, General Power of Attorney, Mortgages, Lease Agree

ment, Gifts, Wills etc.

2. Marriages: Hindu Marriages, Special Marriages, Parsi Marriage

3. Firms: Partnership Deeds of firms

B) Information Services: Department offers issuance of certificates to citizens. Below are the two types of certificates offered:

1. Certified Copy : Issuing Certified copies of registered documents.

2. Encumbrance Certificate: Certificate notifying transaction and charges against properties

ಕಳೆದ ಎರಡು ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಎದುರಾದ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಅನುಕೂಲಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಇರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಉಪನೊಂದನಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಕಚೇರಿಗಳು ಭಾನುವಾರ, 12-07-2026 ರಂದು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಕಚೇರಿ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೆರೆದಿರುತ್ತವೆ. ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಈ ವಿಶೇಷ ಕೆಲಸದ ದಿನದ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಾಗಿ ವಿನಂತಿ.
