The Karnataka State Medicinal Plants Authority in collaboration with Karnataka Forest Department is organizing 2nd Forest & Farm Herbal Expo – 2026 on 18 - 20th September, 2026 at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Kumara Krupa Road, Bengaluru – 560001. As part of this mega event, a diverse range of herbal raw materials and value-added products derived from forests and cultivation will be showcased in 30-40 stalls. Herbal Expo is an opportunity for farmers, traders, companies, collectors, research & development institutes, AYUSH doctors, associated departments, agri-entrepreneurs, NGOs etc working for the sustainable development of medicinal plants sector to interact/ exchange knowledge and market linkage. Farmers, VFCs, LAMPS etc from different parts of Karnataka will be showcasing their herbal raw material/produce.
Workshop on “Promotion of Medicinal Plants Export” will be held on 18th September, 2026 at D Devaraj Urs gallery of Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath. The objectives of the event are;
Showcasing medicinal plants (Forest-Farm) potential of Karnataka
To promote the export of medicinal plants and value-added products.
Strengthen Supply Chains-Providing platform for interaction and business opportunities among farmers, collectors, traders, industries, and other stakeholders
Analyze global demand trends and short list species in high demand
Educate stakeholders on international quality standards,
Encourage startups/entrepreneurship in medicinal plants

ಔಷಧೀಯ ಸಸ್ಯಗಳ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ರೈತರು, ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಿಗಳು, ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು, ಸಂಗ್ರಹಕಾರರು, ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು, ಆಯುಷ್ (AYUSH) ವೈದ್ಯರು, ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳು, ಕೃಷಿ ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳು, ಸರ್ಕಾರೇತರ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು (NGOs) ಮುಂತಾದವರಿಗೆ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಸಂವಹನ ನಡೆಸಲು, ಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿನಿಮಯ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಈ ಹರ್ಬಲ್ ಎಕ್ಸ್‌ಪೋ ಒಂದು ಉತ್ತಮ ಅವಕಾಶವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ, "ಔಷಧೀಯ ಸಸ್ಯಗಳ ರಫ್ತು ಉತ್ತೇಜನ" (Promotion of Medicinal Plants Export) ಕುರಿತಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವನ್ನು 18ನೇ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್, 2026 ರಂದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಚಿತ್ರಕಲಾ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಡಿ. ದೇವರಾಜ ಅರಸ್ ಗ್ಯಾಲರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಉದ್ದೇಶಗಳು ಈ ಕೆಳಗಿನಂತಿವೆ:

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಔಷಧೀಯ ಸಸ್ಯಗಳ (ಅರಣ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಕೃಷಿ ಮೂಲದ) ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅನಾವರಣಗೊಳಿಸುವುದು.
ಔಷಧೀಯ ಸಸ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮೌಲ್ಯವರ್ಧಿತ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳ ರಫ್ತನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುವುದು.
ಪೂರೈಕೆ ಸರಪಳಿಯನ್ನು (Supply Chains) ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವುದು – ರೈತರು, ಸಂಗ್ರಹಕಾರರು, ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಿಗಳು, ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಪಾಲುದಾರರ ನಡುವೆ ಸಂವಹನ ಹಾಗೂ ವ್ಯವಹಾರ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ವೇದಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವುದು.
ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರವೃತ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಶ್ಲೇಷಿಸುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯಿರುವ ಸಸ್ಯ ಪ್ರಭೇದಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸುವುದು.
ಪಾಲುದಾರರಿಗೆ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಮಾನದಂಡಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವುದು.
ಔಷಧೀಯ ಸಸ್ಯಗಳ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ಟ್ಅಪ್‌ಗಳು/ಉದ್ಯಮಶೀಲತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸುವುದು.
