Dear Friends,

It is with great struggle that we Women Cab Drivers take up this profession where we are always on the vulnerable side of receiving due to various occupational hazards. This time is is due to this lockdown we are again in a severe financial mess due to the suspension of public and private transport. We are in a situation where we could not like other people store supplies before hand nor are we in a position to store supplies now as our's is a daily wage based work. In this context we are unable to even buy the most basic medicines or even supplies for menstruation for ourselves and our female family members like our children. If we run the cabs we will have the income or else we will not have. that is the dire situation. I request all friends to share this in face book posts for us to get wide publicity and through that generous help even if it means small contributions to the below bank account. As of now we are five cab drivers who are seeking openly for this support and we will soon build this more strongly for other women cab drivers too who will join us.

Dear friends,

This has been a request from some of us Women Cab Drivers in Bangalore to you all - during these days of COVID - 19 many of us are not able to get business of pick up and drops as all the modes of transport is suspended. In this context and situation we have had no resources of income or compensation in any which way. Many of us have families to maintain. Some of us have not even stored supplies or we have had no resources or income to store supplies from the last months to the days of lockdown. We even are not able to afford some basic necessities of what women need during menstruation for us or our girl children in our families. We request you all to kindly donate generously for our survival for a period of 2 months till we get back to our work and sustain ourselves.
We need a minimum of 15,000/- Rs per month per driver for 5 women drivers as of now.
