A joint press conference was held today by the District Magistrate, Bankura, along with the Superintendent of Police, Bankura and the District Force Coordinator (CAPF).

It was reiterated that during the ongoing General Elections to the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, our clear objectives are to ensure that the elections are:

1. Fear-free
2. Violence-free
3. Intimidation-free
4. Inducement-free
5. No Chhapa
6. No booth jamming
7. No source jamming
8. Free from involvement of staff of Government, PSUs, autonomous bodies, or local bodies in any political activity

With these firm commitments, every elector in Bankura will be able to exercise their franchise freely and without fear.
