Subject:- Advertisement for Recruitment of Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) in Anganwadi Centers of POSHAN Project Pattan.

Applications on prescribed format annexed as (Annexure-A) are hereby invited from the eligible female candidates of the Panch wards/Municipal Wards shown against the below mentioned Panchayat Halqas/Municipal Wards, for the engagement of Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) for the Anganwadi Centers of POSHAN Project Pattan on “Honorarium basis” as admissible under rules. The application along with required documents should reach to the office of Child Development Project Officer Pattan within 10 working days from the date of publication of the said notice upto 4:30 P.M. against proper receipt. The application forms shall be available free of cost at Project Headquarter Pattan.

Criteria for selection of Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helper).
1. The candidate must be a domicile of the UT of J&K.
2. Women candidates in the age group of 18-37 years shall be eligible. (Age calculated as on 1st January 2026).
3. The candidate should be a resident of the Electoral Ward where AWC is situated .Name in the voter list for the ward shall be considered as the proof of residence of the candidate. In case the name of the candidate appears in voter list along with her parents, then she must be provide certificate of being unmarried issued by the concerned Tehsildar.Wherever, there is any dispute as to residence for any reason, then a residence proof certifying the ward of residence from the concerned SDM/ACR shall be considered.
4. Minimum qualification for Anganwadi Helper shall be 10th Class.
5. Weight age shall be given on the basis of marks obtained in Class 10. The committee shall select the meritorious married women of the ward as Anganwadi Helper from amongst those who fulfill the qualification criteria. In rarest of rare cases where selection committee finds a widow headed household with no income source or a completely destitute lady with zero source of income, in such cases preference may be given if other things are equal. In case no married candidate is available, unmarried may be considered.
6. In case eligible candidate is available within the family of retiring AWH, the said candidate shall qualify for additional 2% points.
7. Self-attested copies of documents to be attached with the application form.
8. Ward certificate issued by Executive officer M.C Pattan, as per format annexed with the application form.
9. Domicile Certificate issued by Tehsildir concerned.
10. Date of Birth Certificate.`
11. Academic Qualification Certificate. (10th)
12. Self-addressed envelope with postage stamp of Rs. 5/=
13. Unmarried certificate by concerned Tehsildir wherever required.
14. Panchayat/ Municipality VOTER list of the Panchayat/ Municipal Ward applied for.
15. Affidavit/undertaking as per format annexed with the application form.
NOTE:- NAME OF THE CANDIDATE MUST BE PRESENT IN THE PANCHAYAT/ MUNICIPAL VOTER LIST, AND THE CANDIDATE MUST SUBMIT IT ALONGWITH OTHER REQUISITE DOCUMENTS. IN CASE OF DISPUTE WITH REGARDS TO THE RESIDENCE OF A CANDIDATE, SHE MUST PROVIDE A RESIDENCE PROOF CERTIFYING THE WARD DULY ATTESTED BY CONCERNED ACR/SDM.
ONLY FORMS COMPLETE IN ALL RESPECTS WITH ALL REQUISITE DOCUMENTS SHALL BE ACCEPTED. FORMS INCOMPLETE IN ANY RESPECT SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
