Government ITI Bheden Observes World Youth Skills Day
Government ITI Bheden enthusiastically celebrated World Youth Skills Day today with the active participation of students, faculty and staff. The programme aimed to recognize the importance of technical and vocational education in empowering youth with the skills required for employment, innovation and sustainable development.
The event was graced by the presence of the Principal, Training Officer In-Charge, Assistant Training Officer and other staff members of the institute. In their addresses, they highlighted the significance of skill development, continuous learning and the vital role of skilled youth in nation-building.
A variety of activities were organized to mark the occasion. A Quiz Competition was conducted to enhance the technical knowledge and general awareness of the trainees, while a Painting Competition provided students with an opportunity to showcase their creativity by expressing ideas related to skills, innovation and youth empowerment.
A major highlight of the celebration was the Project Exhibition, where students from different trades displayed their innovative projects and working models. The exhibition reflected the practical skills, technical expertise and creativity developed by the trainees through their vocational education.
To recognize and encourage excellence, certificates were distributed to the students for the Best Project in each trade. The winners were appreciated for their innovation, dedication and outstanding performance, inspiring other trainees to strive for excellence in their respective fields.
As part of the institute's commitment to environmental sustainability, a Plantation Drive was also organized within the campus. The Principal, staff members and students actively participated in planting saplings, spreading the message of environmental conservation and the importance of creating a greener and healthier future.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, appreciating the efforts of all participants, organizers and staff members. The celebration of World Youth Skills Day at Government ITI Bheden successfully promoted the values of skill development, innovation, environmental responsibility and holistic growth, making the event both meaningful and memorable.
