The Zilla Swajal Baithak and the District Water & Sanitation Mission (DWSM) meeting was chaired by the District Commissioner cm Chairperson, DWSM, Barpeta, in the presence of the CEO, Zilla Parishad, and ADC, PHE along with other stakeholders.
The house discussed the implementation and progress of schemes under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) and Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) with special emphasis on identifying and restoring the non-operative PWSS as well as resuming the works by the contractors after lifting of standstill period and functionality status of SBM-G assets ensuring effective utilization of assets and services delivery.
