A settlement was reached before the Regional Labour Commissioner (Central), Raipur, between M/s Ambuja Cement, through its contractors and the Cement & Khadan Shramik Union representing 46 contractual workmen.

Under the settlement, the employer agreed to upgrade the existing category of the workmen, resulting in an annual financial benefit of ₹3.50 lakh.

A Memorandum of Settlement was reached between the management of M/s Scotland Security Services and the complainants before the Labour Enforcement Officer (Central), Rajahmundry-cum-Conciliation Officer.

Under the settlement, ₹12,17,823 was paid to 71 complainants towards wage dues for National Holidays and short payment of bonus for the last four years.
