The monthly District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) meeting was held at DC’s Conference Hall, Basar, jointly chaired by MLA Smti Nyabi Jini Dirchi and Deputy Commissioner Ms. Himani Meena on Wednesday. The meeting reviewed the progress of centrally sponsored schemes, flagship programmes, and key developmental projects across Leparada district, including infrastructure works at the New District HQ near Bam and Central Divisional Commissioner Office at Pagi.
DC emphasized timely implementation, effective monitoring, improved service delivery, and quality ex*****on of developmental works. Concerns over delays in loan-linked schemes were addressed, while initiatives for women empowerment, local entrepreneurship, sanitation, and infrastructure planning were also highlighted.
MLA Dirchi stressed urgent repair of the Akajan-Likabali-Bam (A-L-B) Road and called for promotion of agriculture, horticulture, fisheries, and allied sectors to strengthen local self-reliance.

MLA also informed that a Special Surgery Camp is tentatively scheduled on 22nd June 2026 at Todak Basar District Hospital, Basar, with renowned surgeon Dr. Moji Jini(Former-Director, TRIHMS) and surgeons from AIIMS, New Delhi, urging eligible patients to avail the opportunity.
