গত ২২ শে আগষ্ট '২৬ ইং ত্রিপুরা রাবার শ্রমিক ইউনিয়নের রাজ্য কমিটির পক্ষ থেকে এক প্রতিনিধি দল আসন্ন ত্রিপুরা রাজ্য বিধানসভায় উত্থাপনের জন্য বিরোধী দলনেতার হাতে তুলে দেওয়া হয়। Charter of Demands :-
1) "Rubber"must be included under the Natural Disaster Management Act.
2) The government must take necessary initiatives to set up-rubber- based industries in the state.
3) The State government should regulate the Rubber market and take necessary measures to ensure the price of rubber remains stable. The state government should play effective role for protecting interest of rubber workers and small farmers.
4) The State government should take the necessary steps to provide insurance coverage for every rubber trees.
5) The government must take steps to reclaim the land of rubber plantations managed by TFDPC from illegal encroachers, and no other crops may be cultivated on these lands .
