This village owns a Vaisnav temple (Thakurbari means home of Lord Vishnu) which has very precious idol of Lord Venkateshwar, this is one of the three idols made by the same Sculpturist, who made idol of lord Venkateshwar in the famous temple of Ayodhya which is smallest one and the biggest idol is in Karnataka Balajee temple and the middle one is in this village.
