Daksha foundation is a youth led non profit organisation which works for creating social growth and promoting skill enhancement in areas of Bihar and Jharkhand. Daksha means “The Skilled One” in Sanskrit. People may usually excel with knowledge of maths, physics, science, etc; but lack in soft skills required in 21stcentury. The aim of Daksha foundation is on capacity building of the people around focusing primarily on under-privileged who couldn’t even dream about this.
On other front, Daksha is creating an ecosystem for the non-profit organisations, social initiatives and campaigns alike and putting in a common pool of shared resources and connecting the like-minded organisations and individuals. It is the SDG 17th, that drives the community building effort.
