A Kisan Mela was organized with the theme of promoting cotton cultivation in Legha Hetwan, Kairu block, Bhiwani. Farmers were educated about the economic and health benefits of organic farming, as well as various groundwater conservation schemes. During this event, the DPMU IEC expert also informed farmers about the subsidies available for UGPL and laser land levelers in collaboration with the Atal Bhujal Yojana. Notable participants included R.K Saini, former HOD of H.A.U, Sanjay, Technical Expert in Agriculture, and SDO and ADO, along with the DIP IEC expert Sanjay koshik.

The DPMU GWE & IEC Expert with DIP Bhiwani initiated the Independence Day celebration in the villages of Obra, Jhanwari, Bardu Chaina, and Hetampura Gram Panchayat within the Bhiwani district. During this celebration event, the DPMU, DIP, and school students took part in poster making, slogan writing competitions, and sack race competitions. Village sarpanches and panchayat members also participated in the event to convey a strong message about saving groundwater.
