India, as we see it today, is the longest thriving civilization nourished by the great contributions of numerous great seers & sages who enriched and revived the cultural and spiritual essence of Bharat. Acharya Shankar or Adi Jagadguru Shankaracharya is one such immaculate personality in the great tradition of Sanatan Dharma. Born in Kerala and educated in Omkareshwar, Shankaracharya worked for t

he whole undivided India to revive Sanatan Dharma and Indian culture from distortions and conflicts of the then existing society. He preached the philosophy of Advaita Vedanta, wrote commentaries on Vedantic scriptures and sanitized Hinduism by intellectual discourses, shāstrārth across India in such a short span of his life of barely 32 years. Acharya Shankar should be celebrated; and the philosophy of Advaita Vedanta expounded by him be popularized among the masses in these modern times when the human life and thoughts have become the mere rendition of stress and desperation. In this regard, the Government of Madhya Pradesh is committed to celebrate Acharya Shankar and popularize his works among the masses. For the fulfilment of such a pious objective, Acharya Shankar Sanskritik Ekta Nyas under the auspices of Dept. of Madhya Pradesh is working in the service of Acharya Shankar with some ambitious projects at Omkareshwar - jñāna-bhumi of Acharya Shankar.

शुभ गुरु पूर्णिमा 🙏🕉️

गुरु पूर्णिमा केवल एक तिथि नहीं, बल्कि उस शाश्वत परंपरा का स्मरण है जिसमें ज्ञान गुरु से शिष्य तक, पीढ़ी दर पीढ़ी, अविरल प्रवाहित होता रहा है।

जिस दिन शिष्य ने समित्पाणि होकर, विनम्रता व श्रद्धा सहित गुरु की शरण ली, उसी दिन से उसकी सच्ची यात्रा आरंभ हुई - अंधकार से प्रकाश की ओर, अज्ञान से ज्ञान की ओर।

आज हम उन सभी गुरुओं के श्रीचरणों में नमन करते हैं, जिन्होंने हमें यह मार्ग दिखाया - भगवान सदाशिव से प्रारंभ होकर जिसके मध्य में आदि शंकराचार्य है और जो मेरे समक्ष आचार्य तक अक्षुण्ण चली आ रही उस परंपरा का स्मरण करते हैं, जो आज भी समूचे विश्व को दिशा दे रही है।
