Belo Pradhan, an 82-year-old resident of Budadasha village under Badabanga Gram Panchayat, Daringbadi Block, Kandhamal district, is eligible for a ₹3,500 old-age pension but is currently receiving only ₹1,000.

For an elderly person, access to the full pension amount is essential for meeting basic needs and living with dignity.

We urge the concerned authorities to review his case, address the discrepancy, and ensure that Belo Pradhan receives his full and rightful pension amount without further delay.

Basic School Infrastructure is Every Child’s Right

Students and teachers of Karlakhaman Primary School under Biramuda Gram Panchayat, Gudvella Block, Balangir district, are facing daily challenges due to the lack of essential facilities such as a boundary wall, kitchen room, and playground.

These basic infrastructures are crucial for ensuring a safe, secure, and child-friendly learning environment. The absence of a boundary wall raises safety concerns, while the lack of a kitchen room affects the smooth implementation of the Mid-Day Meal programme. Additionally, children are deprived of a proper space for sports and recreational activities.

We sincerely urge the concerned authorities to take immediate steps to provide these essential facilities and improve the learning conditions for the students of Karlakhaman Primary School.

Every child deserves a safe and supportive school environment to learn, grow, and thrive.
