With our Hon’ble Speaker Sri Om Birla and two other esteemed Parliament Colleagues of mine , I had a very engaging conversation with Hon’ble Speaker, Ms Azarel Ernesta and her Colleagues of the Parliament of Seychelles in Delhi today.
Seychelles is a small and beautiful nation located in the Indian Ocean off the Eastern Coast of Africa- near Madagascar. It is an Archipalego of 115 small Islands. The total population of the Country is just 90000.
I did mention -“Small is Beautiful and there are areas where India and Seychelles can work together and learn from one another.”
We talked about our advanced Parliamentary processes- Legislative drafting, use of AI and Information Technology .
ମାନନୀୟ ଲୋକସଭା ବାଚସ୍ପତି ଶ୍ରୀ ଓମ୍ ବିର୍ଲା ଏବଂ ମୋର ଅନ୍ୟ ଦୁଇଜଣ ସମ୍ମାନନୀୟ ସଂସଦ ସହଯୋଗୀଙ୍କ ସହ ଆଜି ଦିଲ୍ଲୀରେ ସେଚେଲ୍ସ ସଂସଦର ମାନନୀୟ ବାଚସ୍ପତି ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ଆଜାରେଲ୍ ଏର୍ନେଷ୍ଟା ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କର ସହଯୋଗୀମାନଙ୍କ ସହ ଏକ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଫଳପ୍ରଦ ଓ ଆକର୍ଷଣୀୟ ଆଲୋଚନାରେ ଯୋଗ ଦେଇଥିଲି।
ସେଚେଲ୍ସ ହେଉଛି ଆଫ୍ରିକାର ପୂର୍ବ ଉପକୂଳ ନିକଟରେ, ମାଡାଗାସ୍କର ସମୀପସ୍ଥ ଭାରତ ମହାସାଗରରେ ଅବସ୍ଥିତ ଏକ ଛୋଟ ଏବଂ ସୁନ୍ଦର ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର। ଏହା ୧୧୫ଟି ଛୋଟ ଛୋଟ ଦ୍ୱୀପକୁ ନେଇ ଗଠିତ ଏକ ଦ୍ୱୀପପୁଞ୍ଜ। ଦେଶର ମୋଟ ଜନସଂଖ୍ୟା ପ୍ରାୟ ୯୦,୦୦୦।
ଆଲୋଚନା ସମୟରେ ମୁଁ ଉଲ୍ଲେଖ କରିଥିଲି— “ଛୋଟ ହିଁ ସୁନ୍ଦର, ଏବଂ ଏପରି ଅନେକ କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ରହିଛି ଯେଉଁଠାରେ ଭାରତ ଓ ସେଚେଲ୍ସ ପରସ୍ପର ସହଯୋଗ କରିବା ସହ ପରସ୍ପରଠାରୁ ଶିଖିପାରିବେ।”
ଆମେ ଭାରତର ଉନ୍ନତ ସଂସଦୀୟ ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା, ଆଇନ ପ୍ରଣୟନ ପାଇଁ ବିଧେୟକ ଓ ଆଇନର ଖସଡ଼ା ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି, କୃତ୍ରିମ ବୁଦ୍ଧିମତ୍ତା (AI) ଏବଂ ସୂଚନା ପ୍ରଯୁକ୍ତି (IT)ର ବ୍ୟବହାର ଆଦି ବିଷୟରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ବିସ୍ତୃତ ଆଲୋଚନା କରିଥିଲୁ।
