The Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Department was created as a separate Department during 2015-16 being bifurcated from W &CD Department.Since inception ,it has been working for overall development of Disable persons,provide social security pension ,provide pension to destitute and person with disabilities through a host of specially designed schemes and programmes.
