From the misty hills of Malkangiri to the coast of the Bay of Bengal, Odisha came together for India's first digital Census. Over 92,000 enumerators. All 30 districts. More than 1.23 crore households, each one a family, each one now part of the story of a nation.

This is how Phase 1 of Census 2027 was completed in Odisha. Counted with technology. Counted with heart.

On the occasion of the 80th Independence Day, Director of Census Operations Sri Nikhil Pavan Kalyan, IAS, hoisted the National Flag at the Directorate of Census Operations, Odisha premises. He remembered and paid tribute to the sacrifices of our freedom fighters, honouring their courage and dedication to the nation.
