Historic City of Bidar celebrates the World Heritage week with various programmes. To commemorate, District Administration is organising a Heritage Cycling Expedition on Sunday, 23 Nov. The expedition will be flagged off from the Fort, proposed to cover Gurudwara, Bareedi tombs, Papnash, Old city like Shah Gunj, Chaubara, Fateh Darwaza, Mangalpet Darwaza and Mahmud Gawan Madrassa.

Those who are interested may register with us by 5 pm, 22/11. Spot registration is also allowed for outstation participants.

The following are the partner organisations.
1. Karnataka Tourism
2. Indian Heritage Cities Network (IHCN)
3. Archaeological Survey of India, (ASI)
4. Rotary Club of Bidar.

All citizens of Bidar are interested to participate in large numbers, Heritage enthusiasts and cyclists are also requested to participate.

In order to create awareness among people about BIdar and its heritage and to promote tourism and local economy, Bidar Utsava is being organised by the District administration. The Utsava for the current year was organsied in the month of Jan-Feb 2014. A few snaps are included in this album for reference.

Bidar heritage run was organised to create awareness among the people about the heritage of Bidar on 2 Nov. It was a great success.
