Over the years these disasters have caused extensive damage to life and property and have adversely impacted economic development. The Government of HP recognized the need to have an proactive, comprehensive and sustained approach to disaster management to reduce the detrimental effects of disasters on overall socio-economic development of the State.

जिला बिलासपुर के झंडूता उपमंडल के अंतर्गत बालूघाट क्षेत्र में भूस्खलन की चपेट में आने से एक निजी बस दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो गई। जिला प्रशासन की टीमें मौके पर राहत एवं बचाव कार्य में जुटी हुई हैं।
