A one-day training programme on Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) was successfully conducted in Biswanath District under the aegis of DDMA, Biswanath. Departmental Officials, field functionaries, CQRT Volunteers and other stakeholders participated in the training. The sessions focused on enhancing disaster preparedness, community resilience, risk communication, and public participation in disaster risk reduction. Participants actively engaged in the programme and gained valuable insights into promoting disaster-resilient behaviour at the grassroots level.

বিশ্বনাথৰ ইষ্ট ইণ্ডিয়ান স্কুল কৰ্তৃপক্ষৰ দ্বাৰা গণ্ডকী নদীৰ গতিপথত এখন গাৰ্ড দেৱাল/কংক্ৰিটৰ গাঁথনি নিৰ্মাণ কৰা হৈছিল। এনে ঘটনাই নদীখনৰ পানীৰ প্ৰাকৃতিক প্ৰৱাহত বাধা দিয়াৰ সম্ভাৱনা আছে, নদীখনৰ বহন ক্ষমতা হ্ৰাস কৰিব, খহনীয়া আৰু পলস জমা হোৱাটো বৃদ্ধি কৰিব আৰু বাৰিষা কালত বানপানীৰ আশংকা বৃদ্ধি কৰিব, যাৰ ফলত জনসাধাৰণৰ সুৰক্ষা, জীৱন আৰু সম্পত্তিৰ প্ৰতি ভাবুকি সৃষ্টি হ'ব পাৰে।

সেয়ে বিশ্বনাথৰ জিলা আয়ুক্ত তথা জিলা দুৰ্যোগ ব্যৱস্থাপনা কৰ্তৃপক্ষৰ অধ্যক্ষ শ্ৰীযুত লক্ষীনন্দন চহৰীয়া, অ.অ.সে. মহোদয়ে দুৰ্যোগ ব্যৱস্থাপনা আইন, ২০০৫ৰ ধাৰা ৩০(২)(v), ধাৰা ৩০(২)(xviii) আৰু ধাৰা ৩৪(এ) আৰু (এম)ৰ অধীনত বিশ্বনাথৰ ইষ্ট ইণ্ডিয়ান স্কুলৰ পৰিচালনা/কৰ্তৃপক্ষক তাৎক্ষণিকভাৱে উক্ত গাঁথনি ভাঙি পেলাবলৈ নিৰ্দেশনা জাৰি কৰিছে। সবিশেষ জানিবলৈ সংলগ্ন নিৰ্দেশটো চাব পাৰিব।
