On 23rd June 2026, an Awareness-cum-Prevention Camp on Illicit Liquor and Alternative Livelihood was successfully conducted at Bihmari Gaon Panchayat in the presence of Smti. Kabita Kakati Konwar, ACS, Co-District Commissioner, Behali Co-District; Ms. Pankhi Hazarika, ACS, Assistant Commissioner, Behali Co-District; and the Excise Inspector, Behali. The programme witnessed active participation from various government departments and local residents. The camp emphasized the importance of public awareness, community participation, and the promotion of sustainable alternative livelihood opportunities to prevent the production and consumption of illicit liquor.

On 21st June, the 12th International Yoga Day was celebrated at Behali Co-District in the gracious presence of Hon'ble MLA Shri Munindra Das, Co-District Commissioner, Behali, Smt. Kabita Kakati Konwar, ACS, Assistant Commissioner Miss Pankhi Hazarika, other dignitaries, and school students. The event highlighted the importance of yoga in promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being and encouraged everyone to embrace yoga as a way of life. 🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️🌿

আজি ইংৰাজী ২৬ জানুৱাৰী ২০২৬ তাৰিখে বিহালী সমজিলা প্ৰশাসনৰ উদ্যোগত ৭৭ সংখ্যক গণৰাজ্য দিৱস বৰণাঢ্য কৰ্য্যসূচীৰে উৎযাপন কৰা হয । বিহালী স্নাতক মহাবিদ্যালয়ৰ খেল পথাৰত অনুষ্ঠিত হোৱা এই গণৰাজ্য দিৱসৰ পতাকা উন্মোচন কৰে বিহালী সমজিলা আয়ুক্ত শ্ৰীযুত প্ৰভাত পেগু ডাঙৰীয়াই। পতাকা উত্তোলন কৰি সমজিলা আয়ুক্ত গৰাকীয়ে দেশৰ স্বাধীনতাৰ হকে প্ৰাণ আহুতি দিয়া স্বাধীনতা সংগ্ৰামী সকলৰ ত্যাগৰ স্মৰণ কৰাৰ লগতে দেশৰ সংবিধানৰ প্ৰণেতা বাবাচাহেব ভীমৰাও আম্বেদকাৰ প্ৰমুখ্যে সংবিধান প্ৰণয়নৰ লগত জড়িত থকা প্ৰতিগৰাকী পুৰুধা ব্যক্তিলৈ গভীৰ শ্ৰদ্ধা নিৱেদন কৰে। অনুষ্ঠানত আৰক্ষী আৰু অৰ্ধসামৰিক বাহিনীৰ দ্বাৰা কুচ-কাৱাজ প্ৰদৰ্শন কৰাৰ লগতে বিভিন্ন বিভাগৰ দ্বাৰা প্ৰতীক পট প্ৰদৰ্শন আৰু সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান পৰিবেশন কৰা হয়। সমজিলাখনৰ কেইবাটাও বিভাগৰ দ্বাৰা এখন প্ৰদৰ্শনীও অনু্ষ্ঠিত কৰা হয়। আজিৰ গণতন্ত্ৰ দিৱস উদযাপনৰ এই কাৰ্যসূচীত বিহালী বিধানসভা সমষ্টিৰ সন্মানীয় বিধায়ক শ্ৰীযুত দিগন্ত ঘাটোৱাল ডাঙৰীয়া, সহকাৰী আয়ুক্তদ্বয় শ্ৰীযুতা দিপ্তীৰেখা হাজৰিকা, শ্ৰীযুতা বিচিত্ৰা দাস, ভাৰপ্ৰাপ্ত সম-জিলা আৰক্ষী অধীক্ষক শ্ৰী যুত প্ৰমুখ্যে সমজিলা প্ৰশাসন আৰু আৰক্ষী প্ৰশাসনৰ উচ্চ পদস্থ বিষয়া, জন প্ৰতিনিধি সকল ,বিভিন্ন বিভাগৰ মুৰব্বী বিষয়া, সৰ্বসাধাৰণ ৰাইজ, সাংবাদিক সকল আৰু ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীসকল উপস্থিত আছিল।

On 25.01.2026, a cheque distribution ceremony under the scheme “Mukhya Mantri Ati Kali Duti Pat” was held at Borgang T.E. Field under the Behali Co-District Administration, in cooperation with the ALRMS Department.
The programme was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Member of Parliament, 11 No. Sonitpur Parliamentary Constituency, Shri Ranjit Dutta, Hon’ble MLA, Behali, Shri Diganta Ghatowar, Deputy Commissioner, Biswanath, Co-District Commissioner, Behali, Assistant Commissioner, Behali, along with other distinguished dignitaries.
The programme commenced with a live streaming of Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma from the Dum Duma cheque distribution public meeting.

On 12th January 2026, a meeting was held at Srimanta Sankardev Prekshya Griha, Borgang, Behali CDC Campus, under Behali LAC, in connection with the House-to-House (H2H) Survey of SSR under Behali LAC constituency.
The meeting was held in the presence of the Co-District Commissioner, Behali, Shri Prabhat Pegu, ACS; Assistant Commissioner Smt. Diptirekha Hazarika, ACS; BDO, Behali & Baghmara; Election Officer, Biswanath, and BLOs under Behali LAC.

“On 5th January 2026, a meeting was held at the Office of the Co-District Commissioner, Behali, to discuss preparations for the upcoming Republic Day 2026. The meeting was chaired by the Co-District Commissioner, Behali, Shri Prabhat Pegu, ACS, and attended by Assistant Commissioner Smt. Diptirekha Hazarika, ACS, Miss Bichitra Das, ACS, i/c CDSP, Behlai and Hod of other Departments.”

On 3rd January 2026, a meeting was held at the Office of the Co-District Commissioner, Behali, to discuss various issues related to Brick Kilns under Behali LAC, in the presence of Shri Prabhat Pegu, ACS, Co-District Commissioner, Behali, along with Assistant Commissioners, officials from State GST, Assam Pollution Control Board, Forest Department, and Brick Kiln owners.
