🌸 DISTRICT PROJECT B – SHE INSPIRES 🌸

Rotaract Club of Bolpur Santiniketan proudly felicitated Mrs. Sonali Chakroborty, Co-founder of Art Illuminates Mankind (AIM), for her inspiring work through Moram, a community-driven initiative and sustainable homestay in Birbhum. Since 2012, her journey has been dedicated to creating meaningful change through community, creativity, and sustainability.

Through workshops on Batik, Kantha, dye work, and traditional crafts, she empowers tribal women to move beyond being mere workers and discover their identities as artists, entrepreneurs, and changemakers. Her efforts have transformed skills into livelihoods, confidence, and a stronger sense of identity.

With over 5,000 trees, Moram stands as a living example of sustainable development, where people and nature coexist in harmony. Her unique practice of healing with nature further adds to Moram’s vision, making it a space where visitors can experience nature, art, culture, and community in its truest form.

Through She Inspires, Rotaract Club of Bolpur Santiniketan had the honour of recognising a woman who has turned a vision into a thriving ecosystem of empowerment, sustainability, and hope. Her journey is a powerful reminder that when one woman chooses to create change, she can inspire an entire community to grow with her. 🌿✨

🌸 RotaBandhan: Rakhi Celebration 🌸

“Some bonds are not defined by blood, but strengthened by love, friendship, and togetherness.”

Rotaract Club of Bolpur Santiniketan celebrated Raksha Bandhan through RotaBandhan, a club initiative aimed at strengthening the bonds of friendship, unity, and fellowship within the Rotaract family.

As a part of the initiative, the club sent Rakhis through post to Rotaract clubs across District 3240, spreading the spirit of Raksha Bandhan beyond geographical boundaries. The initiative symbolised the beautiful bond shared among Rotaractors and celebrated the idea that Rotaract is not just a network of clubs, but a family connected by friendship and service.

Through RotaBandhan, the club added a heartfelt touch to the festival, strengthening connections and creating a sense of togetherness across the district.

⭐Raksha Bandhan Celebration⭐

On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Rotaract Club of Bolpur Santiniketan visited various traffic police booths in Bolpur town and the Fire Brigade Office to celebrate the festival with the police officers and fire brigade personnel.

Rakhis were tied as a gesture of gratitude and respect for their dedicated service and contribution towards the safety of the community. The celebration was a meaningful way to share the joy of Raksha Bandhan with our community’s frontline workers.
