Today, our team from the Yuva Morcha (BJP) paid a courtesy visit to the Superintendent of the Bolpur Sub-Divisional Hospital (Sian). We held a detailed discussion regarding various issues and took note of the hospital's urgent requirements. These include the need for doctor appointments across various departments; maintaining hygiene standards and addressing safety hazards; and the requirement for modern medical equipment to ensure better patient care. We also noted that the number of General Physicians is significantly low and needs to be increased immediately. Furthermore, the number of beds in the CCU and HCCU must be expanded, and the Blood Bank currently lacks an adequate number of Medical Officers, among other issues.
We assured the Superintendent that arrangements would be made to convey these matters to the Chief Minister as soon as possible. Given the critical nature of these issues, we pledged that they would be addressed with the utmost priority in the interest of the public.
