*Budgam Police distributes Water Purifiers and Ramadhan food Kits among poor and needy families in Khag area*

BUDGAM: 21st APRIL, 2021.

Continuing its efforts to reach out the people, Budgam police today distributed 30 water purifiers and Ramadhan food kits among the poor and needy families in Khag area of district Budgam.
The distribution function was held by SSP Budgam Tahir Saleem-JKPS accompanied by Adll.SP Budgam, SDPO Magam and other senior officers. The water purifiers and Ramadhan kits were distributed among 30 BPL families in Khag Beerwah area.
Each Ramdan food kit consists of:
1. Dates 1 packet (250 gms)
2. Vermicelli (Sewaiyan)
1 packet (150 gms)
3. Semolina (Suji) 1 packet ( 500 gms)
4. Dry Fruits.. one packet.
6. Rice.. 1 packet of 5 kg.
5. Sugar.. 1 packet of 2 kg.
6. Mustard Oil. 1 bottle of 500 gms.
7. Wheat.1 packet of 4 kg.
8. Flour. 1 packet of 3 kg.

Budgam Police reiterated that J&K Police is always ready to render helping hand to the people and assured the participants that reach out programmes shall continue in the district.

For the first time since 9th Sept, Active Cases have fallen under the 9L mark, yesterday. This indicates a trend of steady decline in Active Cases.

This decline has been possible due to decrease in number of active cases in 20 States/UTs over the last month.

The Centre's focussed strategy of timely, high and widespread TESTING combined with prompt ISOLATION, efficient TRACKING and effective TREATMENT as per the Standard Treatment Protocol, over a sustained period, have resulted in these encouraging outcomes.
