🌱 বিশ্ব পরিবেশ দিবস উপলক্ষে এবং মাননীয়া মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর "মায়ের জন্য একটি গাছ" কর্মসূচির অঙ্গ হিসেবে আজ সিমনোরে NH-19-এর সার্ভিস রোড সংলগ্ন আন্তঃজেলা নাকা চেকিং পয়েন্টে TI, DGP Expressway মহাশয়, NH Patrol Team এবং পুলিশ কর্মীদের উপস্থিতিতে বিভিন্ন ধরনের গাছ এর চারা রোপণ করা হয়।

এছাড়াও OC, Galsi PS, CI Sadar (A) এবং TI, DGP Expressway মহাশয়ের উপস্থিতিতে NH-এর পারাজ, গোলিগ্রাম ও গলসি চৌমাথা এলাকার ব্যস্ত আন্ডারপাসগুলি পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্ন করা হয়।

পাশাপাশি বাজার এলাকায় ব্যাপক জনসচেতনতামূলক প্রচার চালানো হয় যাতে সকলেই পরিবেশ পরিচ্ছন্ন রাখার গুরুত্ব উপলব্ধি করেন। মহাত্মা গান্ধীর বাণী— “পরিচ্ছন্নতা ঈশ্বরত্বের পরেই স্থান পায়” —কে সামনে রেখে একটি পরিচ্ছন্ন ও সুস্থ ভবিষ্যৎ গড়ার বার্তা সাধারণ মানুষের মধ্যে পৌঁছে দেওয়া হয়।

পূর্ব বর্ধমান জেলা ট্রাফিক পুলিশ-এর পক্ষ থেকে সমাজসেবামূলক কাজের জন্য সম্মানিত করা হলো শেখ সামসের আলি ও তাঁর সহযোগীকে।

রাস্তা পরিষ্কার রাখা, ট্রাফিক সাইনেজ রক্ষণাবেক্ষণ করা এবং “Sk Ali” ফেসবুক হ্যান্ডেলের মাধ্যমে সচেতনতামূলক ভিডিও প্রচার করে সাধারণ মানুষের মধ্যে ট্রাফিক সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধিতে তাঁদের উদ্যোগ সত্যিই প্রশংসনীয়। 🌟

এ ধরনের সামাজিক উদ্যোগ সমাজকে অনুপ্রাণিত করে এবং নিরাপদ সড়ক গড়ে তুলতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে।
