18 km from Dharamshala, Triund lies at the feet of the perpetually snow clad Dhauladhar at the height of 2975 m. The snow line starts at Ilaqa (3350 mtr), 5km from Triund. It is a popular picnic and trekking spot. The tracks from Rawa, Dal Lake, Dharamkot and Bhagsunag meet at a ridge known as Galu temple (2130 mtr) which has a small shrine and water point. After the snow nullah the trek rises abruptly waving through 22 curves making the ascent tiring and difficult. On the way one can spot many birds and wild animals.

Indrahar Pass is a mountain pass in the Dhauladhar range of the Himalayas.Indrahar pass forms the border between Kangra and Chamba districts. It is part of a very popular trekking route from Dharamshala. It attracts substantial tourist traffic during the trekking season between April–October.

The sea's only gifts are harsh blows, and, occasionally, the chance to feel strong. Now, I don't know much about the sea, but I do know that that's the way it is here. And I also know how important it is in life not necessarily to be strong, but to feel strong, to measure yourself at least once, to find yourself at least once in the most ancient of human conditions, facing the blind, deaf stone alone with nothing to help you but your hands and your own head.

The mighty Rohtang pass has been opened for vehicular traffic yesterday, said Deputy Commissioner Lahaul & Spiti district Mr. Bir Singh Thakur. He said as per the information provided by GREF authorities the Rohtang pass has been opened and the vehicular traffic is restored.
He said that the two buses are scheduled to leave for Keylong from Kullu at 6:00 am on 3rd May, 2014 and will further leave for Manali at 7:30 am. He said that one bus will leave from Keylong at 9:30 am for Manali on the same day. He said that Rohtang Pass was closed due to heavy snow from last November.

Chaurasi Temple is located in the centre of Bharmour town and it holds immense religious importance because of temples built around 1400 years ago. Life of people in Bharmour centres around the temple complex-Chaurasi, named so because of 84 shrines built in the periphery of Chaurasi Temple.

The beautiful Shikhara style temple of Manimahesh occupies the center of the complex. Chaurasi Temple Complex was built approximately in 7th century, although repairs of many temples have been carried out in later period. There are 84 big and small temples in Chaurasi temple complex.

Trilokinath , one of the names of Lord Shiva, means "Lord of the three worlds". The Trilokinath temple, which is 6 Km south of left bank of Chandrabhaga River is sacred to both Tibetan Buddhists as well as Hindus and is close to a town called Udaipur. Visitors can stay overnight in the temple as well.
