The 4th General Assembly of LKK Concludes Successfully

The 4th General Assembly of the Lamkang Kurchuknao Kunpun (LKK) for the tenure 2024–2027 concluded yesterday, 9th May 2026, at Kotal Khunthak, Chandel district.

The session was ceremonially marked by the dedication of a commemorative Monolith led by Shemi Tholung, Local Pastor, and unveiled by Thomas Shilshi, President-in-charge of LNKK.

Key highlights included a Felicitation Programme 2026 and discussions regarding participation in the 26th Edition of the NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2026, alongside other vital functions of the Union.

The Kunpun expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the host village for their exceptional hospitality, the sumptuous lunch, and their support in making the assembly a grand success.

Turning Data into Direction: Career Insight Workshop at Thamlakhuren

Following our successful Career Guidance Programme on 11th April 2026 at P. Ralringkhu, we took the next vital step yesterday, 18th April 2026, with an intensive DMIT Report Interpretation Workshop at Thamlakhuren Community Hall, Chandel.

This session was designed specifically for the students who took advantage of our discounted testing to help them and their parents deep-dive into their unique results.

Highlights of the day:
Personalized Insights: Students discovered their inborn strengths, learning styles, and personality traits through scientific fingerprint analysis.
Parent-Student Synergy: Parents joined the conversation to understand how to better support their child's natural talents and emotional needs.
Actionable Roadmaps: Our experts provided clarity on stream selection and career paths aligned with each student’s "innate hardwiring".

The Lamkang Kurchuknao Kunpun (LKK) successfully organised a Career Guidance programme on 11th April 2026 at P. Ralringkhu, Chandel.

The event provided students with expert insights from Dr. Dhanabir Laishram, a renowned social scientist and motivational speaker, and M. Premjit Singh, founder of Door 2 Door Career Consultants. During an engaging Q&A session, the speakers addressed diverse topics, ranging from the impact of Artificial Intelligence to choosing the right career path and contributing to a better society.

In a milestone achievement, the Lamkang Students' Union (LKK) facilitated discounted access to DMIT and Psychometric testing for students—the first initiative of its kind under the Union's banner.

The event saw a record turnout, with over 450 attendees, including students (Class 6 and above) and their parents.
