GMSSS 22A Marks 80th Independence Day with Pride*
The 80th Independence Day at GMSSS 22A was celebrated with great zeal and national spirit. Principal Mrs. Anita Dhawan and Vice Principal Mr. Parminder Tangri jointly hoisted the National Flag, setting an inspiring tone for the day.
From captivating cultural performances by students to a heartfelt patriotic song by Science Teacher Mr. Jeetender, every moment resonated with pride. Sweets were distributed to the students, spreading joy across the campus.
It was truly a memorable day that strengthened our love for the country.

GMSSS 22A में 80वां स्वतंत्रता दिवस बड़े उत्साह और राष्ट्रीय भावना के साथ मनाया गया। प्रिंसिपल
श्रीमती अनीता धवन और वाइस प्रिंसिपल श्री परमिंदर तांगरी ने संयुक्त रूप से राष्ट्रीय ध्वज फहराया, जिससे दिन की शुरुआत प्रेरणादायक अंदाज में हुई।

छात्रों द्वारा प्रस्तुत मनमोहक सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों से लेकर विज्ञान अध्यापक श्री जीतेंद्र द्वारा गाए गए हृदयस्पर्शी देशभक्ति गीत तक, हर पल गर्व से भरा हुआ था। छात्रों में मिठाइयां बांटी गईं, जिससे पूरे परिसर में खुशी का माहौल फैल गया।

Celebrating the spirit of _Har Ghar Tiranga_, GMSSS-22A hosted a special assembly.
The program began with a stirring patriotic group song by our students, followed by an engaging quiz competition.
The Class 7 team emerged as winners.

*हर घर तिरंगा उत्सव*

GMSSS 22A Parminder Tangri

Date: 11 August 2026
As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Utsav, various activities were organised in the school to celebrate the spirit and significance of Independence Day and to instil patriotism among the students.
Activities Conducted:
1. *Slogan Writing* – Students expressed their love for the nation through inspiring slogans.
2. *Essay Writing – Students* reflected on the value of freedom and the contribution of our freedom fighters.
*3. Poem Recitation* – Students presented patriotic poems with enthusiasm and confidence.
*4. Letter to Our Brave Heroes* – Students expressed their gratitude and respect for the brave heroes who sacrificed for the nation.
Students participated enthusiastically in all the activities and gained a deeper understanding of the value of freedom, patriotism, and our responsibility towards the nation.

Today, our worthy Principal Mrs. Anita Dhawan distributed certificates to the NSS volunteers who successfully completed the 15-day Saarthi Project training at PGI. During the training, the volunteers provided dedicated support to patients in the OPD and assisted in various hospital services.
