National Award-winning filmmaker Ojaswwee Sharma was honoured by the Rotary International President-Elect (2026-27), Olayinka Hakeem Babalola. The ceremony took place in the presence of distinguished leaders, including Flt. Lt. K.P. Nagesh, Rotary International (RI) Director 2025–27 (Zones 4 & 7); Gurjeet Sekhon, RI Director-Elect (RIDE) 2027–29 (Zones 4 & 7); Dr. Rita Kalra, Rotary District Governor-Elect (DGE) for District 3080 (2026-27); and Dr. Sanjay Kalra.

Ojaswwee Sharma directed the cornerstone campaign film, "A Life of Conviction," for DGE Dr. Rita Kalra for District 3080 (2026-27).

He also directed the "Team Unstoppable" Rotary District 3080 Anthem, created by Jagsifat Makkar

Both productions focus on the core Rotary values of humanitarian service, high ethical standards, and the promotion of world understanding, goodwill, and peace.

These impact campaigns, produced by Rolling Frames Entertainment, were screened to a massive audience spanning seven states during the combined training seminars for Rotary Districts 3080, 3070, and 3090. Held in the first week of April 2026, these high-level events included the President-Elect Training Seminar (PETS) and the Secretary-Elect Training Seminar (SETS) for incoming club leaders.

The campaigns were produced by Pinaka Mediaworks and Mastershot Pictures, in association with the Office of the District Governor-Elect (Rotary 3080), and directed by Ojaswwee Sharma.

Rolling Frames Entertainment’s impact campaigns produced for District Governor Elect Rotary 3080 were screened to a massive audience spanning seven states during the Rotary Districts 3080, 3070, and 3090 training seminars in Zirakpur. These district-level events, held in the first week of April 2026, included the President-Elect Training Seminar (PETS) and the Secretary-Elect Training Seminar (SETS) for incoming club leaders.

During my recent visit to Himachal Pradesh, I was honored to return to the Sobha Singh Art Gallery in Andretta. My conversation with Dr. Hirday Paul Singh Ji and Kamaljit Kaur Ji extended upon more stories and insights on the incredible efforts dedicated to preserving Sardar Sobha Singh’s iconic work. The gallery, which is being maintained to preserve its very simple, nostalgic feel, is a soulful tribute to one of India’s greatest artists, beautifully preserved across generations.

It is a distinguished honour for us to meet and host Olympian Shri Avtar Singh Sohal Ji in Chandigarh 🇮🇳 .
Known to the world as "Tari/Taari", who played hockey for Kenya 🇰🇪 at four Olympic Games, from 1960-72, captained thrice in 1964, 1968, and 1972, and was also the Kenyan captain at the 1st Men's World Cup of hockey in Barcelona in 1971, served as Kenyan National Coach from 1978-88. He was a judge at the 1988 Seoul Olympics and was appointed to the FIH Development and Coaching Committee in 1988. In 2000, Tari was given the Diploma of Merit by the FIH for his services to hockey. Special thanks to Journalist, Writer and Author Sukhwinderjit Singh Manauli Ji for arranging the meet.

National Award-winning film director Shri Ojaswwee Sharma recently visited the studios of Akashvani 107.2 Chandigarh (All India Radio) for a special recording of the career-oriented program, “Lakshay.” The program is scheduled to air on Thursday, 23rd April 2026, from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM IST, offering a deep dive into the journey of socially impactful cinema and cinema leadership, navigating professional challenges, and identifying effective ways to inspire the younger generation toward cause-driven storytelling. The visit also facilitated a meaningful interaction at Akashvani Chandigarh with Smt. Poonam Amrit Singh, Deputy Director Programme and Head of Programme, and Smt. Meenakshi Kalia, Assistant Director Programme.

In 2018, we told a story that needed to be heard.
In 2026, it still does.
As conversations around transgender rights find renewed space in our public discourse, one is reminded that legislation may mark milestones—but true change is measured in empathy, in acceptance, and in the everyday dignity we extend to one another.
This story was never confined to its time. It belongs to a larger, ongoing journey—one that countless individuals continue to navigate with courage and resilience.
To see the film still resonate, still provoke thought, is both humbling and telling. It reinforces a simple truth: we still have a long way to go. If this work has, in any way, contributed to keeping the conversation alive, then it has served its purpose.
