There are 5 puppies on this street, and sadly, 3 of them have already been injured in accidents. 💔
All of them are currently under treatment — one had a leg injury, another one was sick, and then the third one was hit by an auto!
Thankfully, all are doing much better now. ❤️
Our team member Aditi Mam has been caring for these puppies, feeding them and sponsoring their treatment. The puppies are receiving street-side care, with medicines, better nutrition, and extra protein and calcium.
If everyone cared for the animals living on their own streets, the world would be a kinder, happier place — the kind of world we want our children to grow up in. ❤️

Today isn’t just about posting a picture, giving a treat, or celebrating cats for one day.

**International Cat Day is a reminder to embrace cats, celebrate the love they bring into our lives, and remind the world that every cat deserves kindness, safety, love, and a forever home.**

So this year, we ask you — **don’t just celebrate cats. Celebrate one by opening your heart and your home.** ❤️

Behind every rescued cat is a story.

Some have known hunger, fear, abandonment, injuries, neglect, and loneliness. Some have survived things no animal should ever have to endure.

And yet, despite everything humans may have put them through, they still choose to trust us.
They still purr.
They still seek affection.
They still have so much love to give. 🥺🐾

At our rescue, we have **many beautiful cats waiting for their chance** — healthy, playful babies, as well as special-needs cats who are often overlooked simply because they need a little extra care and patience.

They don't ask for much.

**A safe corner.
A warm bed.
A little food.
Some patience.
And most importantly, someone who will love them.** ❤️

Cats may be wonderfully low-maintenance companions, but the love they give you is anything but small.

They comfort us on difficult days.
They bring warmth into quiet homes.
They make us laugh when we need it most.
And they offer a kind of unconditional love that is difficult to put into words. 🐱❤️

This International Cat Day, **please consider adopting instead of only celebrating.**

Give one of our babies the home they have been waiting for.
Give a special-needs cat the chance to be seen.

Finally, a ray of Hope ❤️
The Delhi High Court has directed the MCD and NDMC to launch a pilot sterilization and vaccination camp in one ward each.

The Court emphasized that dogs will not be captured, sent to dog pounds, or killed.
Instead, residents and feeders will be encouraged to bring community dogs to the camps for sterilization and vaccination.

The initiative aims to build public trust, improve participation in Animal Birth Control (ABC) programs, and create a model that can be expanded across Delhi.

Humane sterilization and vaccination remain the only sustainable, scientific, and legal way to control street dog populations while protecting both animals and communities.

We hope this marks the beginning of a nationwide shift, with other states following Delhi’s example in choosing compassion over cruelty. 🐾❤️
