ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ Bhagwant Mann ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ 'ਮਾਵਾਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਯੋਜਨਾ' ਤਹਿਤ 1 ਜੁਲਾਈ 2026 ਤੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਾਵਾਂ, ਭੈਣਾਂ ਤੇ ਬੇਟੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਤੋਹਫ਼ਾ ਮਿਲਣ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਤਹਿਤ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ 1000 ਰੁਪਏ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਐੱਸ.ਸੀ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ 1500 ਰੁਪਏ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ‘ਯੁੱਧ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ' ਨੂੰ 459ਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਵੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਦਿਆਂ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 18.4 ਕਿਲੋ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ, 570 ਨਸ਼ੀਲੀਆਂ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ 11,487 ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਡਰੱਗ ਮਨੀ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 459 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਕੁੱਲ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 66,473 ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

Following the arrest of the drug smugglers the teams recovered 18.4kg he**in, 570 intoxicant tablets, and ₹11,487 in drug money from their possession.
