For five straight days, treated water supply in the city will remain suspended from Feb 10 to 14, leaving residents dependent on stored water and alternate arrangements. The disruption is part of scheduled infrastructure and maintenance work, but for households across sectors, it means planning showers, cooking, laundry and everything in advance. Authorities have advised residents to store sufficient water beforehand, as regular treated supply won't be available during this period. While it's a temporary measure, the timing and scale have raised concerns among many about water management and preparedness in the City Beautiful.
