ICT Academy is governed by an autonomous Board of Governors with representations from the State Governments, leading companies in the ICT industry and NASSCOM. ICT Academy is a pioneering venture under the Public - Private - Partnership (PPP) model that endeavours to train the higher education teachers and students in the areas of Information & Communication Technology, thereby making the students industry ready.

Strengthening Cybersecurity Skills for a Secure Digital Future

ICT Academy is proud to announce the launch of the Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Cybersecurity, as part of the E&ICT Academy Phase II—an initiative of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, at Vivekananda Polytechnic College, Kanyakumari on 10 August 2026.

As one of a series of FDPs conducted under this initiative, the program will equip faculty members with practical knowledge and industry-relevant skills in cybersecurity, enabling them to strengthen their teaching capabilities and bring enhanced, industry-aligned learning experiences to their students. This will help prepare students with the skills and awareness needed to navigate the evolving cybersecurity landscape and pursue future opportunities in the digital economy.

Thomas Elizabeth College for Women, Chennai on 10 August 2026.

Learnathon 2026 | Virtual Launch & Orientation

The journey towards becoming a future-ready professional has officially begun with the successful completion of the Learnathon 2026 Virtual Launch & Orientation Session, held on 11 August 2026.

The session brought together SPOCs from registered colleges to provide an overview of the Learnathon 2026 self-learning challenge, learning pathways, course offerings, and opportunities available for students.

The session featured:
