TNRISE is proud to have been the Official Ecosystem Partner for Grand Sangamam 2026 – Beyond Boundaries, Tamil Nadu's largest startup gathering, held on 4th July 2026 at the Sheraton Grand, Whitefield, Bengaluru.

Mr. Jagan Kumar representing TNRISE, attended the event and had the privilege of engaging with an incredible room of Founders, Investors, Incubators, and Ecosystem Leaders — all under one roof.

It was a great opportunity to represent TNRISE's mission of building a thriving startup ecosystem in Tamil Nadu, and to explore synergies with founders, incubators, and ecosystem players who are shaping the future of entrepreneurship from our state.

Empowering Women Entrepreneurs Through Financial Literacy

TN-RISE facilitated an Investor Awareness Program (IAP) for SHG members and women entrepreneurs in Chennai under AMFI's flagship investor education initiative, "Mutual Funds Sahi Hai" on 15.07.2026.

It marked the launch of "Saksham" – Financial Literacy Training Program , an initiative of the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) aimed at strengthening financial awareness and empowering individuals to make informed financial decisions.

The programme was graced by Ms. Mamtha Mudliar Vaidya, Deputy CEO, AMFI, Ms. Nisary Mahesh, CEO, Her Money Talks, Mr. Mohankumar Ramakrishnan, SEBI SMART Trainer for the State of Tamil Nadu and Ms. ManoChitra, AIMFI.

For SHG members and women entrepreneurs, financial literacy is as important as business acumen. Sound financial planning and informed investment decisions enable entrepreneurs to strengthen their enterprises, build wealth, and create sustainable livelihoods for themselves and their communities.

TN-RISE is pleased to have partnered in this meaningful initiative and extends its sincere appreciation to Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI), HerMoneyTalks, and all the distinguished speakers for their valuable contributions towards empowering women entrepreneurs through financial education.

Great collaborations often begin with meaningful conversations.

We were pleased to host the team from Adhiyamaan College of Engineering, Hosur, Dr. Radhakrishnan Rathinavel and Dr. R. Dhanasekaran, at the TN-RISE Women Start-Up Council.

Our discussions revolved around a shared vision of strengthening the innovation ecosystem by supporting women entrepreneurs, encouraging industry-academia collaboration, capacity building, expanding incubation support, and infrastructure access etc.,

It was encouraging to see our shared commitment to creating more opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs and student innovators. Partnerships like these bring together diverse expertise and resources, helping us build a stronger support system for women-led startups.

"Packaging is often the first conversation a product has with its customer."

On 09.07.2026, we successfully organized a one-day Advanced Packaging & Printing Solutions workshop, bringing together 40 women entrepreneurs from diverse sectors to explore how innovative packaging can enhance product appeal, build customer trust, and strengthen brand identity.

The workshop covered practical aspects of packaging materials, printing technologies, label design, regulatory requirements, branding, and cost-effective packaging solutions that entrepreneurs can implement in their businesses.

We were honoured to have Tmt. V. R. Subbulaxmi, I.A.S., CEO, TN-RISE Women Start-up Council, inaugurate the programme. She also interacted with the entrepreneurs, listening to their business journeys, understanding their challenges, and encouraging them to scale their enterprises with confidence.

A key highlight of the workshop was the one-to-one consultation session with industry experts, where each entrepreneur received personalized guidance on product-specific packaging challenges and practical recommendations to improve their packaging for larger markets.

Every product has a story, and effective packaging helps that story reach the right customer. We are happy to have contributed to these entrepreneurial journeys and look forward to seeing these businesses grow.

"What is a brand?" — This simple question sparked a powerful shift in perspective.

We recently conducted a 2-hour online session on "Brand Foundations" for TN-RISE entrepreneurs, and one of the biggest takeaways was watching participants rethink what branding truly means.

Many entrepreneurs initially believed that a brand was just a name or a logo. By the end of the session, they understood that a brand is much more—it is the promise, perception, trust, and experience that customers associate with a business.

The engaging session by Mr. Satheesh Krishnamurthy, with his decades of branding expertise, challenged conventional thinking and provided practical insights that entrepreneurs can immediately apply to their businesses.

The feedback we received was incredibly encouraging. It was inspiring to see entrepreneurs share how the session changed their understanding of branding and motivated them to build stronger, more meaningful brands.

TN-RISE successfully conducted the TN-RISE Boot Camp 2026 – Nagapattinam Edition, bringing together 200+ aspiring and existing women entrepreneurs from , , , and . The boot camp served as a vibrant platform for learning, collaboration, and entrepreneurial growth, equipping participants with the knowledge, networks, and confidence to build sustainable enterprises.

The boot camp was inaugurated by Shri K. J. Praveen Kumar, IAS, District Collector, Nagapattinam, who inspired participants with his address on the importance of innovation, resilience, and entrepreneurship in driving inclusive economic development.

Mr. Jagan Kumar, Project Lead, introduced the participants to the TN-RISE ecosystem, showcasing the program's comprehensive support mechanisms, market linkages, capacity-building initiatives, and opportunities available to help women entrepreneurs establish, strengthen, and scale their enterprises.

A key highlight of the event was the inspiring interaction with women entrepreneurs who shared their entrepreneurial journeys, challenges, achievements, and aspirations. Their stories fostered confidence, encouraged peer learning, and reinforced the spirit of collaboration among participants.

The boot camp also enabled participants to engage with fellow entrepreneurs, exchange ideas, build valuable networks, and explore pathways for sustainable business growth.
