One Choice. A Lifetime of Impact.
During pregnancy, avoiding alcohol is an important step in protecting a developing child. Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) can have lifelong effects, making awareness and prevention especially important.

On FASD Awareness Day, Sri Arunodayam encourages informed choices, greater awareness, and support for healthy pregnancies and healthier beginnings.

Every child deserves the best possible start in life.

Celebrating the Colours & Spirit of Onam at Sri Arunodayam

Sri Arunodayam came alive with the festive spirit of Onam — a celebration that brings with it a beautiful message of togetherness, gratitude, joy and abundance.

For our children, festivals are also opportunities to experience India’s rich cultural traditions, participate together and create memories filled with happiness and belonging.

The celebration brought smiles all around as our children and staff shared in the joy of the occasion, embracing the warmth and togetherness that make Onam so special.

At Sri Arunodayam, every celebration is another opportunity to nurture inclusion, participation and shared experiences — because joy becomes even more meaningful when everyone is part of it.

Wishing everyone a very Happy Onam!

May the festival bring happiness, peace and prosperity to all.

The future learns from the truth we teach today.

A teacher’s influence reaches far beyond lessons and classrooms. Through patience, guidance, honesty, and encouragement, they help children discover their abilities, build confidence, and develop the values that shape who they become.

This Teachers’ Day, Sri Arunodayam celebrates our teachers and educators who recognise every child’s potential and find meaningful ways to help them learn, grow, and become more independent.

To every teacher shaping lives with knowledge and compassion — Happy Teachers’ Day!

80th Independence Day Celebrations Across Sri Arunodayam | 15 August 2026

Sri Arunodayam celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day across our Thanigai Campus, Chennai Campus and Vaigai Campus on 15 August 2026.

The celebrations brought together our children, parents, staff, patrons, guests and well-wishers for flag hoisting, patriotic speeches, songs, dances, poetry, a drill display, fancy dress, presentations on India’s national symbols and a skit on Unity in Diversity.

At Vaigai Campus, the Sri Arunodayam Special School brochure was also released as part of the programme.

Across all three locations, our children participated with confidence, creativity and pride—celebrating the freedom to learn, express themselves and belong.
