Sahodaya Store Report.

During the CBSE Sahodaya Festival,the COMMERCE FORUM opened a coffee shop.More than making a fund for the forum,the aim of the exercises was to have a hand on experience in Enterprenurship.Coffee,Softdrinks,Milkshakes,and hot snacks were available for sale.The shop was a bumper success in every way.The Enthusiastic participation and hardwork of the members were responsible for its rocking success.The Strong support of Anisha Mam and Vidhya Mam, boosted the confidence of the students.The stall was inaugrated by our Principal Prof.David Abraham and blessed by the bursar Rev.Jacob Jhonson.The Members contributed a sum of RS.13,400 as the intial Capital.The sale amounted to RS.25959.after all expenses ,the COMMERCE FORUM got a profit of RS.1194.
The idea to open a shop was releived with anxiety and aprehension.After the programme every member felt confident of undertaking more ventures in future.Hats off to all members and specially to our dear Anisha Mam and Vidhya Mam.

Self Reliance

Go Green!

On 2nd October 2013, we celebrated the auspicious occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi.The members of the school Parliament had conducted the morning assembly by giving more information about the life and works of Gandhiji.

We the members of Commerce Forum planted plantain at 10:45 am. The local manager Rev.Jacob Johnson inaugurated the program by planting plantain seedlings followed by the vice principal Mrs.Asha Kurup and Mrs.Anisha Bharathan who is in charge of the Commerce Forum.Anisha mam was always behind us.It was she who gave us the idea and inspired and encouraged us to venture the new project.Physical labour including ploughing,manuring,etc were done by the boys of our class(XI) and other needed helps were given by the girls.

After hearing the National Anthem we once again remembered the great spiritual leader "Mahatma"-'The Man blend with spirit and knowledge.

Report of the Formal Inauguration of the Commerce Forum..

The formal inauguration of the Commerce Forum was conducted on 30th September 2013 at 3pm at the School seminar hall.The program began with a silent prayer,after which the president of the forum,Master Anand Krishnan.R welcomed everyone to the meeting.
The inauguration of the Forum was done by the principal Prof.David Abraham,who in his inaugural address,spoke about consumerism,globalisation,trade without human values and job opportunities for the commerce students.He also appreciated and congratulated the organisers of the Commerce Forum.
Mrs.Asha Kurup,the vice principal of the school,in her felicitation speech appreciated the commerce students on their new venture and encouraged them to take up business professions in the future.
Jyothi.T.M of class XII also spoke on the occasion and admired the effort in founding the Commerce Forum.
It was followed by a presentation by Anisha, a committee member of the Commerce Forum regarding the fore coming programs of the forum.
Sai Prabha of class XII refreshed the audience with a melodious song which was composed by herself.
The program came to an end with vote of thanks propored by Miss.Anjana George.
Thus the Commerce Forum of Bishop Moore Vidhyapith came into existance opening a busy and exciting year of activities for the Commerce students.
