NAMMA CHENNAI:
Election period gets over in a couple of months and so do the promises made during the election rallies. This is an initiative taken by a trio of school students in order to reach out to those people whose voice is left unnoticed by the larger mass. In this 21st century, we the youth find the social media a lot influential. In fact many Facebook and Google+ groups have sprung up so
rapidly in the past two years. We too decided to use this same and most effective platform to carry forward the service we wish to offer. SO WHAT IS NAMMA CHENNAI? NAMMA CHENNAI is a social initiative taken by three school students, in order to give something back to the society that gives everything for us. Let’s face it; two of the biggest problems we face today are poverty and unemployment. No one needs explanation for these two words. In fact they are related to each other! “UNEMPLOYMENT LEADS TO POVERTY”. So what could we do to take out the factor of unemployment? Well why not create some opportunities? That is what we do. NAMMA CHENNAI has been divided into two major branches. Voice of the voiceless

Well the name itself makes the concept behind starting the branches clear. We know that we are just schooling and we cannot bring that expected massive change. Our motto is – “Be the change you want to see”. So a little change is better than nothing! VOICE OF THE VOICELESS:
To be honest- We got inspired by HUMANS OF NEWYORK page. So after a week of thinking, we decided to start a page of our own. “Voice of the voiceless” as the name goes, concept is pretty straight forward. We are out on the streets of Chennai every weekend with our cameras and notepads. We take pictures of people and taking down the public problems that they think are bothering them. On the other 5 days of the week, there will be a procession of posts on our page. The main objective of this page is to expose the public problems faced by common man to the world. SOCIETY GIVING:
This is the second phase of the project NAMMA CHENNAI.We definitely appreciate any help towards this good cause. So after going through the VOICE OF THE VOICELESS page, there are people who will be willing to help. Well, this page is their platform. We post about the help, funds, and all other kinds of help we get. This page might not be active for the first couple of months. But we hope that it kick starts as soon as possible. It all depends upon us! It can start only when people start coming forward to help. Summary:
Let me just summarize it qu**ky! NAMMA CHENNAI is the root organization. VOICE OF THE VOICELESS focuses on exposing the public problems faced by a common man in their everyday lives. SOCIETY GIVING is a page which is dedicated for appreciating the people who come forward to join hand in hand with us towards the good cause.
