Honoured to attend the inaugural ceremony of the National Jurists Conference on “Value-Based Justice: The Soul of Law”, held on 29 May 2026 at Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Gyan Sarovar, Mount Abu. The conference brought together eminent legal luminaries, jurists, and dignitaries to discuss the importance of integrating moral and ethical values into the justice delivery system. It was an enriching experience to be part of such a meaningful deliberation.

Today’s proceedings before the Hon’ble Court were deeply insightful, as the Learned Advocate General Shri Pitambar Acharya advanced submissions on behalf of the State in an important writ petition concerning restoration of the alleged lost mining lease period, statutory clearances, and the scope of relief under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The matter involved intricate questions relating to mining lease rights, environmental and forest clearances, force majeure principles, and the extent to which a writ court may grant consequential directions in matters involving statutory and contractual obligations of the State.
