On August 15 2022, our country will commemorate its 75 years of Independence (76th Independence Day). The entire country is observing this historic milestone by taking part in the Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Series of programmes were carried out today as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav:-

i. It has seen large no. of enthusiastic participation from all quarters in Ghar Tiranga campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

ii. Cleanliness and plantation drives were carried out led by Shri Mika Nyori, DC himself along with HoDs and denizens at various places of District HQ Daporijo.

As our country is all set to celebrate its 75 years of Independence Day (76th Independence Day) on August 15 2022. The entire country is observing this historic milestone by taking part in the Ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate the 75th years of Independence.

The Central Govt. has launched Ghar Tiranga campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav from August 13 to August 15 with an intent to evoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the countrymen and to promote awareness about Indian National Flag. The citizens who will be hoisting the flag will also be receiving a certificate, for this, the govt. has launched a portal at harghartiranga.com to provide all the infos to citizens pertaining to the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and its certificate.

I appeal everyone to hoist our national flag in your homes as per the given dates.
