St. Xavier’s English School, Simri, Darbhanga successfully concluded its two-day Annual Sports Meet 2026 on 5th and 6th February 2026 with the vibrant theme “Navras.” The event was organized with great enthusiasm and sportsmanlike spirit, showcasing the physical skills, teamwork, and dedication of the students.

The grand occasion was graced by Mr. Dipak Singh as the Chief Guest, along with the esteemed presence of Mr. Ravi Ranjan, Secretary, and Mr. Jyoti Prakash, Managing Director, whose encouragement and support added prestige to the event.

This year, the competitions were conducted among four houses—Agni House, Akash House, Prithvi House, and Trishul House. Students participated actively in various track and field events, demonstrating discipline, perseverance, and unity.

Among the four houses, Trishul House emerged victorious by winning the maximum number of trophies and was proudly declared the Overall Champion of the Annual Sports Meet 2026.

The event concluded on a high note, leaving behind cherished memories and reinforcing the spirit of healthy competition and holistic development among students.

On the occasion of Merry Christmas, the students of St. Xavier’s English School, Simri celebrated Christmas from their homes by decorating their houses with craft items made from waste materials and by wearing Santa Claus costumes, which spread joy and festive cheer. The objective of this celebration was to encourage creativity among students, promote the reuse of waste materials, develop environmental awareness, and help students enjoy the spirit of the festival with happiness, positivity, and enthusiasm even while staying at home.

On the special occasion of Children’s Day, St. Xavier’s English School, Simri Darbhanga organized a meaningful plantation drive on 13 November 2025 at Vrihad Aashray Grih, Bharathi Simri, under the theme “One Tree for Children.” The event began with MD Foundation Secretary Mr. Ravi Ranjan Maharaj, who emphasized the importance of trees for environmental protection. School directors, teachers, and students enthusiastically planted medicinal and shade-giving saplings, promoting awareness and inspiring a greener, responsible future.
