The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR) celebrated Toy Train Day by hosting a vibrant children’s painting competition alongside the North Bengal Painters Association.

Thank you to our young creators and partners for helping us celebrate and preserve this living UNESCO World Heritage legacy! 🚂✨

🚂 Yoga on Wheels at Kurseong Station! 🧘‍♂️✨
To celebrate International Day of Yoga, the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway partnered with HELP NGO Kurseong for a unique morning of wellness at the historic Kurseong Railway Station!

The event kicked off in the fresh mountain air with Chief Guest Shri Sonam Lama (MLA Kurseong), followed by DHR staff performing yoga right on top of heritage flag wagons.

From railway staff to onlookers, it was an incredible day blending UNESCO world heritage with mindfulness and community health in the hills. 🏔️💚
