Lost to Found — 213 Phones Reunited with Their Owners!

Darjeeling District Police successfully recovered and returned 213 lost mobile phones to their rightful owners. Of these, 148 phones were distributed through rural Police Stations, while 65 phones were handed over to their owners today at Town Hall, Darjeeling.

SP Darjeeling also shared three key messages: Stay Cyber Safe — Call 1930 | Drive Safe | Say No to Drugs.

Together for a Safer Darjeeling

Darjeeling Police organised a joint awareness programme by Sadar PS & Sadar Traffic Guard at Town Hall, with participation from school students and drivers’ associations.

The programme focused on drug abuse prevention, human trafficking awareness and traffic safety, in the presence of DSP (Traffic) and IC Sadar.

Cyber Awareness Programme

Darjeeling Cyber Crime PS, in collaboration with the Department of Consumer Affairs & Fair Business Practice, Govt. of West Bengal, conducted a Cyber Awareness Programme at Ghoom Jorebunglow Degree College.

Students were sensitized on online financial frauds, UPI scams, cyber bullying, identity theft, data protection and safe internet practices.
