This Annual Day was not just a celebration… it was a statement with a purpose.
Beyond applause and achievements, our Annual Day honored student excellence while powerfully unfolding the theme “PROFESSION”—reminding us that every career has dignity, but humanity gives it meaning.
We were deeply honored to have the Reputed Red Cross Team of Davanagere as our Chief Guests—individuals from diverse professions who stand united in one noble mission: service to humanity ❤️
They inspired our children to understand that whether one becomes a doctor, engineer, teacher, artist, or any professional, the greatest identity is to be a HUMAN BEING first.

🇮🇳 “The Constitution is not just a book of laws, it is the soul of our nation.” 🇮🇳

Davanagere Public School celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great pride, dignity, and patriotic spirit. The campus resonated with national fervour as we came together to honour the values of our Constitution and our great nation.

We were deeply honoured by the gracious presence of our Chief Guest, Dr. A.M Shiva Kumar , ENT Surgeon, Davanagere, who hoisted the National Flag, marking the beginning of a memorable celebration. The ceremony was followed by a disciplined and energetic march past, showcasing unity, confidence, and respect for the nation.

The programme continued with vibrant cultural performances by our students, beautifully reflecting India’s rich heritage and diversity. In their thought-provoking speeches, students spoke confidently about the Indian Constitution, raising a powerful question: “Everyone talks about Fundamental Rights, but are we truly performing our Fundamental Duties as responsible citizens?” This message left a lasting impact on all present.

A special highlight of the event was the distribution of sports prizes to parents, acknowledging and appreciating their encouragement towards holistic development.

In his inspiring address, Dr. A.M Shiva Kumar . emphasized the importance of Fundamental Duties, urging students to follow the path of truthfulness, show respect to teachers, and maintain strong moral values. He beautifully stressed that while education is important, life is not just about marks — equal importance must be given to physical education, sports, discipline, and character building.

The celebration concluded with cultural programmes that filled the atmosphere with joy, pride, and patriotic energy, making the day truly unforgettable.

The corridors of Davanagere Public School echoed with pride and inspiration as we hosted our Leaders’ Investiture Ceremony 2025 on 9th August. The solemn occasion was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest PSI Pramillamma H along with her dedicated Durgapade Squad Team, whose presence inspired every child to embrace discipline, dedication, and service.

The ceremony began with the symbolic act of watering the plant, signifying growth, responsibility, and a new beginning for our young leaders. This was followed by a soulful invocation that set the tone of wisdom and harmony for the day.

The highlight of the occasion was the oath-taking ceremony, led by our School Head Boy and Head Girl, where the newly elected leaders pledged to uphold the values and discipline of the school. With hearts filled with pride, badges of honor were then conferred upon the Head Boy & Head Girl, Cultural Leader, Discipline Leaders, Communication Leaders, Sports Captain & Vice-Captain, and House Captains & Vice-Captains of Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green Houses. Each badge symbolized not just authority, but a promise of service, inspiration, and responsibility.

Our Chief Guest, PSI Pramillamma H, inspired the gathering with her powerful words — “True leadership is about inspiring others through discipline, courage, and responsibility.” Her presence along with the Durgapade Squad Team left a lasting impression, motivating our children to lead with dedication and humility.

The day concluded with a vibrant cultural performance, a heartfelt vote of thanks, and the National Anthem — leaving behind a legacy of inspiration for every student who aspires to be a leader of tomorrow.

🇮🇳 75th Independence Day Celebration – A Grand Unity of Two Institutions 🇮🇳

On this 15th August, Davanagere Public School and Central Public School came together to celebrate our nation’s glorious Independence Day with unity, pride, and purpose.

After the flag hoisting ceremony on our school campuses, our students, brimming with energy and patriotism, took out a march towards Aqhthar Raza Circle. The streets of Davanagere echoed with the rhythm of their steps and the spirit of freedom. This unique march was not just a symbol of national pride, but also an effort to mingle with the local community and spread awareness about the importance of education in every child’s life.

At Aqhthar Raza Circle, the celebration reached its true grandeur. The Aqhthar Raza Youth Group joined hands with us, and many respected dignitaries graced the dais to honor the occasion. Their presence inspired the students and community alike.
